Detail of the famous painting panel of Doraemon: Nobita's World in Pictures
In the opening scene of Doraemon: Nobita's World in Pictures, Doraemon and his friends use the secret prop "Crawling Light" to travel through the worlds of many famous paintings.
Inspired by this scene, we created a panel depicting Shizuka-chan entering the world of Alphonse Mucha's "Lady of the Camellias".
"Lady of the Camellias" is woven with smooth curves, romantic decorations and brilliant colors.
The collaboration with Shizuka-chan who looks at her with a dreamy gaze creates a charming sense of harmony.
Original author: Alphonse Mucha
He was a Czech painter and decorative artist active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and a representative of the Art Nouveau movement.
He is known for his decorative style featuring graceful curves, graceful female figures and plant patterns, and quickly became popular in Paris for his posters of actress Sarah Bernhardt.
His works cover a wide range of fields such as advertising, posters, illustrations and book binding, showing a new aesthetic that closely links art with daily life. After Czech independence, he also devoted himself to creating the "Slavic Epic" full of patriotic feelings, and is considered an outstanding artist who expresses national pride through art.
