Famous Paintings Giclee Prints "Tribute Collection" Doraemon The Movie: Nobita'S World Story
The opening scene of "Doraemon: Nobita's Voice-over" shows Doraemon and his friends using a secret item, the "Crawling Light," to travel through the worlds of numerous famous paintings.
Inspired by this, we created panels depicting Doraemon characters in the style of ukiyo-e, paying tribute to these characters.
Each character's charm is humorously captured, exemplified by Kitagawa Utamaro's "The Woman Playing the Piano," Hishikawa Moronobu's "The Beauty Looking Back," Toshusai Sharaku's "Third Generation Otani Kiji's Edobei," and Utagawa Kuniyoshi's "Momokagami." The illustrations depicting the four characters making faces were inspired by Hokusai Katsushika's "Hundred-Faced Manga."
