Koshu Inden Mini Card Holder Doraemon INDEN JAPAN Grayish Brown

"Inden" is a traditional craft that involves painting designs onto dyed deerskin using lacquer.

It is said that Takeda Shingen, from the Koshu region (present-day Yamanashi Prefecture) during the Sengoku period, loved deerskin bags, and the indigo-dyeing technique originated from this. The Koshu region has historically used lacquerware and stencils to create designs on leather.

The manufacturer of this product, "Inden no Yamamoto," is a long-established company that has consistently upheld this traditional craft.

This cardholder features a simple design that highlights the soft texture of the deerskin and the rich texture of the indigo-dyeing process. The inside of the flap and sides are made of blue and yellow leather inspired by Doraemon, echoing the main color of the cardholder and adding a touch of fun, making opening the cardholder a pleasant experience.

This Koshu indigo-dyeing cardholder was previously well-received, with many customers requesting a restock. In addition to the classic black, the newly released taupe also complements the elegant style of the Inden "Doraemon" design.
