"Koshu Inden" Folding Mini Wallet Doraemon INDEN JAPAN Black

"Inden" is a traditional craft that involves painting designs onto dyed deerskin using lacquer.

It is said that Takeda Shingen, from Kai Province in Koshu (present-day Yamanashi Prefecture) during the Sengoku period, favored deerskin bags, and the printing technique evolved from this. Today, stencils are used to paint designs onto leather.

The manufacturer of this wallet, "Inden no Yamamoto," is a long-established company that has preserved this traditional craft.

This "mini wallet" is small and exquisite, easily fitting in the palm of your hand, yet it boasts six card slots, three internal and external pockets, and two bill compartments, offering comprehensive functionality. The large opening of the external coin purse allows for quick and easy access to change.

The luxurious deerskin material, combined with the slightly raised lacquer finish and designs featuring Doraemon and other gadgets, adds a touch of whimsy to this wallet.
